Ποιά είναι η πιο γνωστή χειρονομία της Ανγκελα Μέρκελ; Μα φυσικά όταν ενώνει τους δείκτες και τους αντίχειρες των δύο της χεριών, σε σχήμα διαμαντιού όπως λέγεται, μπροστά ακριβώς από το στομάχι της.
Έτσι, τοποθέτησαν στον κεντρικό σιδηροδρομικό σταθμό του Βερολίνου, το Hauptbahnhof, μια τεράστια αφίσα - κολάζ, με 70 μέτρα πλάτος και 20 μέτρα ύψος. Αποτελείται από 2,15ο φωτογραφίες οπαδών της Μέρκελ, οι οποίες σχηματίζουν σαν πίξελ, τα δάχτυλα της. Και δίπλα το λακωνικό σλόγκαν “Το μέλλον της Γερμανίας σε καλά χέρια” με την βεβαιότητα ότι αποτυπώνεται η πυγμή και η αποφασιστικότητά της Καγκελαρίου.
Η αφίσα αυτή αποδεικνύει ότι υπάρχει μια καθοριστική στροφή στον τρόπο με τον οποίον οι ίδιοι οι Γερμανοί ψηφοφόροι αντιμετωπίζουν την Μέρκελ, της οποίας το παρατσούκλι είναι “Μαμάκα”.
Παλαιότερα, την είχαν γελοιοποιήσει για τον τρόπο ντυσίματός της και το χτένισμά της, που παραμένουν ίδια και απαράλλακτα εδώ και χρόνια. Η χειρονομία του διαμαντιού, είχε επίσης στοχοποιηθεί καθώς σε μια διαφήμιση είχαν βάλει την ίδια εικόνα με την φράση: “Μα πως καταφέρνει να βγάλει το σακάκι της;”.
Να όμως τώρα που η Σιδηρά Κυρία της Γερμανίας παίρνει την εκδίκησή της, καθώς οι Χριστιανοδημοκράτες κεφαλαιοποιούν την δημοφιλία της, βάζοντάς την ως κεντρική φυσιογνωμία στον προεκλογικό αγώνα.
